"History Has to be Told by Eyewitnesses": Bernard Gotfryd

Bernard Gotfryd decided to write about his survival during the Holocaust when he was sent to his native Poland on assignment as a photographer for Newsweek magazine. His short stories became the award-winning book Anton the Dove Fancier and Other Tales of the Holocaust.
