Barack Obama Speaks to Facing History Students

Barack Obama spoke to students and community members about his autobiography, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.
He spoke of the importance of Atticus Finch's quote in To Kill a Mockingbird, "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view -- until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."
