Raised by nationalistic Armenian parents, Araz Artinian has grown up with the Armenian Genocide as a backdrop to her identity and the identity of her family. Through conversations with her family, survivors of the Armenian Genocide, and citizens of modern-day Turkey, she discovers the importance of remembrance and her own personal connection to the cultural heritage passed down from her parents.
