Roosevelt. Shriver opened pathways for hundreds of thousands of young people to make a difference through the Peace Corps, VISTA, Head Start, Community Action, and Legal Services for the Poor. His story reveals a forgotten and inspiring side of the Sixties. It reawakens hope for what America can be and do when young people are challenged to act on their ideals.
