Volunteer Guides Prepare to Lead Mid-South Residents through Choosing to Participate

August 30, 2011

“History isn't just something you read about; it's something you participate in,” Facing History board member Barbara Williams told Memphis' Commercial Appeal newspaper recently. Williams will be a volunteer tour guide when Choosing to Participate opens there next week.

In the Memphis area? Visit the Benjamin L. Hooks Public Library today and tour the exhibit. Educators and organizations can book group tours by visiting choosingtoparticipate.org.
