Facing History School Students Create Choosing to Participate Exhibit
On June 2nd, the seniors from the Facing History School's first graduating class presented their Choosing to Participate exhibition at City College in New York City. In this exhibition, students showed how they put four years of learning about what it means to be an"upstander" in society to action.On June 2nd, the seniors from the Facing History School's first graduating class presented their Choosing to Participate exhibition at City College in New York City. Projects ranged from multimedia film compilations to public service announcements and covered issues like teen homelessness, affordable housing in New York, immigration in America, and education in a system they know firsthand.
