Vivian D’Amato

West Roxbury, Massachusetts
United States

Vivian D'Amato

Vivian is a true leader and the glue of the West Roxbury community. For over 30 years, she has contributed to initiatives that serve economically and racially diverse women and their families. She is the first to provide meals to neighbors and friends who are experiencing difficulty in their lives. Her sense of empathy and generosity of spirit are unparalleled.

Vivian has been a mainstay of the West Roxbury Friends of Rosie’s Place, which raises funds and provides meals for Rosie’s Place, supports the West Roxbury Branch Library, assists the Roslindale Food Pantry, and gives scholarships to Boston children to attend Sunset Point summer camp. Her energy at 77 is amazing. She is a leader and role model for young and emerging women leaders.
