Rock Bottom, Jonathan Tankersley

Memphis, Tennessee
United States

Grade: 11Rock Bottom

Art Dimensions: 13½" x 19"

Art Description/materials: Crayon on board

Artist's Statement: My piece, entitled “Rock Bottom,” addresses the issue of homelessness in the United States. I believe more can be done for the homeless, and it inspired me to draw about it. I decided to use this stereotype to secure the image, making sure that everyone understood my intention. I hope this piece proves successful in illustrating the plight of homelessness.
