Karen Pihlak

As the first woman hired by the Azusa Police Department, Captain Pihlak has been a leading community activist in confronting hate crimes. Her leading role in launching Azusa's Human relations Commission has made the public aware of the critical work that must be done in order to combat hate crimes.
