Kaki Valerius Smith

Kaki Valerius Smith, Volunteer for the Neighborhood School,
Memphis, TN Five years ago, Kaki Smith volunteered to start an art program for first through eighth grades at The Neighborhood School. She now teaches several classes a week and provides all of the materials for the program. This took an incredible amount of personal determination, time, energy, and financial resources. Kaki has a master’s degree in education and wanted to put it to use by giving back to the community.
