Julie Zeilinger

Women’s Rights Activist

A lot of people complain about life not being fair, but Julie Zeilinger actually does something about it—pursuing a more just world for women and girls with passion, commitment, and creativity.

Locally, she works with Expect Respect, a group that visits middle and high schools performing plays on topics like teen dating violence and bullying. Nationally, Julie spreads the message on The FBomb.org, the blog/community she founded for teenage girls. The “F” stands for “feminist,” and Julie calls The FBomb “loud, proud, aggressive, sarcastic…everything teenage feminists are today.”

“Julie’s drive for social justice and work ethic would be impressive in anyone.”
