Choosing to Participate, a multifaceted educational and civic initiative, challenges us to examine our biases and consider the responsibilities of citizenship. It is a chance for neighbors to come together to consider ways to build community, and for students, teachers, and members of nonprofits, corporations, and schools to consider the consequences of our choices and actions-both personal and public.
